Sunday – Thursday: 12pm - 11pm

We occasionally open earlier when the local footie’s on or when we’re running @readingfc home games’ bus services for home and away fans on the weekends. Keep an eye on our socials for updates. 👀

From crisp Japanese rice lager to juicy NEIPAs, pastry-esque pales, hazy hop bombs and even a barrel-aged imperial stout for the brave amongst you… there’s something seriously fun (and yummy) pouring on every tap today. 🍺

For those who know us well, you’ll know Meeko is one of the quiet cornerstones of The Nag’s Head. Usually found somewhere behind the scenes making sure the staff are paid, the Rioja shelf stays stocked, and the pub remains full of all the weird and wonderful bits of memorabilia that make this place feel like home. 🤎

And recently, after a little trip down to Cornwall, he returned with something rather tasty in tow… bottles of Cornish Orchards Vintage Cider. 🍏

This one’s proper cider. Full-bodied, rich, and a little bit punchy, with plenty of fresh apple character and that lovely balance of sweetness and tannin you want from a vintage scrumpy. Definitely one for sipping rather than rushing. 😏

We’ve popped them in the fridge ready for you:

⏳ While stocks last!

And if they go down as well as we suspect they will…we’ll simply have to get more in!
