As it dots 275 acres of wild forest in the northern mountain ranges and dense forests of the Hautes-Laurentides, Refuge du Lièvre Rouge asks that you slow down.
The domain unfolds around the quiet waters of Lac Saguay and threads through boreal terrain with a handful of off-grid micro-chalets, yurts, and camping sites scattered across the property at varying degrees of remove from the world.

In 2028, Montreal’s Museum of Contemporary Art (the @macmontreal) will reinhabit its place on Sainte-Catherine Street, doubling its exhibition space.
Boasting a glass facade that will, at that point, be the product of a decade-long rebuild, the museum will follow a suite of peers that also reside in glass buildings, or at least incorporate the material into their structures: Toronto’s Royal Ontario Museum, which is undergoing a similar renovation of transparent, geometrical nature; Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art; and Manhattan’s Whitney Museum.
Different from these institutions, or perhaps just more explicit, though, is the MAC’s rationale for such a rebuild.

Arizona O'Neill measures other cities against Montreal, never the other way around.
She grew up in the Mile End, worked for years at @drawnandquarterly, and just published her debut graphic memoir.
Opioids & Organs is about her father's death from a fentanyl overdose and the organ donation decision that followed.
But in its bones, it's also a Montreal book.

Today, we sit down again with @lteezofficial to discover Mama Khan, a Pakistani Peshawari spot founded by Abdul Raziq Khan with his mother and brothers.
Inside, there's a wall where meal vouchers hang for anyone who needs one, no questions asked. Five dollars buys a meal for a stranger, and Abdul would like that wall to stay full.
A Park-Ex kid at heart, he's built a community institution and a reminder that food is never just transactional.
Feed Your Soul – Episode 7 ft. @mamakhanmtl, out now.
Love your food, know your spots, feed your soul.

Getting access to an F1 team during Grand Prix weekend isn’t easy. All we got five questions in ten short minutes with no garage access; even a glimpse of the car could hand a competitor an edge. 🤫 🤐
But we did get time with @maternimarco (grazie mille!), the #1 mechanic for @visacashapprb, the second Formula One team for @redbull. He’s the man who travels the world during F1 season, making sure @arvid.lindblad’s car hits the track ready to go.
He does 50 to 60 practice stops per race weekend. After thousands of repetitions, he told us, the nerves give way to something closer to muscle memory. Getting him to say much more than that was, understandably, not gonna happen.
But ask him about Montreal? That’s where he opens up.
Enjoy the race today. 🏎️

If anyone from the city thinks the West Island as more of a place to pass through, Cassy Teti would like a word.
She’s one of present-day co-owners of Deli La Trattoria (also known as La Tratt), the Italian deli-grocery-pizza operation that's been running out of a strip mall in Kirkland since 2004.
Her father Mario opened it with Enrico Parziale at a time when the area didn't have much in the way of independent food businesses worth talking about.
"There really wasn't anything there," she says. So they built something.

The news that Montreal-based Foodtastic has signed a deal to bring hundreds of Dunkin' locations to Canada starting in Montreal and Toronto is being framed as a bold bet against a Tim Hortons-dominated landscape.
But this framing misreads what's actually happening: This isn't David versus Goliath, but a new restaurant opening next to one that's been getting one-star reviews for a decade and wondering why everyone acts surprised when people line up elsewhere.
