Adventured with the homies through DR for Diandra’s birthday!!

Each day was overflowing with love, adventure, joy. I can truly say I felt like time didn’t exist for a while and when it did we appreciated every second. From being protected by animals to learning about the wealth of culture the community shares it was not only an awe inspiring time, it was bliss. As in true Diandra fashion we were not only well taken care of but treated with the upmost kindness. It was a pleasure and privilege to celebrate you and your life. I will appreciate our friendship always.

I learned so much and let my inner Eliza Thornberry out, embracing nature wherever we went. Allowing my inner explorer to take the wheel with others reminded me of how I liked to play as a child. Tending to be the one outside, building things, climbing trees or with animals. A side I’ve watered down because of the depth of my connection and, at times, hyper focused energy that weirded people out. (Other than with a few)
But to let her be open and explore, share knowledge and experience was a gift that could only have been possible with the amazing women who were there too.
