What. A. Show. 🔥 MSML, an acronym for “Music Saved My Life”, is a local Japanese brand established by three talented, active musicians, who channeled their creativity into their 2026 S/S collection titled, TOKYO ROLLIN’, at Tokyo’s fashion week. Their designs are a collaboration of their personal styles and their love for the music that influences them.

Launched in 2017, brand director, Koji, incredible bassist and innovator, T$UYO$HI, and graphic designer and drummer, Katsuma, all bring their unique perspectives from their own bands, to MSML.

As streetwear has been influential in the evolution of my own personal style, I was honored to share space with MSML. The show truly encompassed their collective vibes and the styling was incredible🤘🏾🎸🙌🏾

Tucked away in Taipei, I spent the afternoon visiting VOLTA, a locally owned space built on family, craftsmanship, and the idea that clothing should age alongside you.

The name “VOLTA” comes from the Italian word“time,” a reflection of their belief that garments should carry stories through every season of life.

One of my favorite parts of traveling is finding spaces like this, local designers and independent brands creating things with real care behind them. Thank you Howell and @volta_leather_jackets for welcoming me into your store with the intention of listening, learning, and sharing your story. What a beautiful space with the most palpable energy. 🥰
