The first single of my new album »Dialoge« is out now! 🎆
»Arrival« is a pairing of an improvisation of mine and @danaedoerken ‘s wonderful rendition of Mikis Theodorakis‘ Prelude No. 4.
My upcoming album »Dialoge« is a melting pot of composed and improvised music, an encounter between different artistic approaches. I‘ve invited my colleagues Danae Dörken, Claire Huangci, Kit Armstrong and Igor Levit to enter a musical dialogue with me. My guests brought pieces of music without telling me which ones. After hearing them live in the studio for the first time, I improvised between each of them. Sometimes my partners would also choose their next piece spontaneously, becoming improvisers too. This is what happened with »Arrival«. ✨ Link in bio! 🙌
