It’s unprocessed thought.
It’s fear of the past and anxiety about the future.
It’s your nervous system gripping the steering wheel and refusing to let go.
It’s you lying awake at night when your brain is stuck spiralling.
We’re told to stop worrying.
Think positive.
Be grateful.
Smile and it will go away.
But worry doesn’t disappear when you ignore it.
It gets louder.
So what if, instead of pushing it away, you dumped it out?
Every “what if.” Every worst-case scenario. Every loop in your mind that wont stop.
No fixing.
No reframing.
No silver lining.
Just write the worry.
All of it.
Messy. Honest. Unfiltered.
And afterwards?
Maybe your chest feels a little less tight.
Maybe your jaw unclenches.
Maybe your thoughts slow down just enough to breathe.
Maybe you soften.
Maybe you start to see it for what it actually is…a thought.
Writing out the worry doesn’t make you suddenly become happy. Instead, you become lighter. Clearer. Back in your body instead of trapped in your head. Present. Able to move again.
So today, stop pretending you’re fine

Don’t give up.

Negative Journaling Exercise: Worry Release
Open to a blank page in your Bullshit Journal.
Write all worries on the paper.
Then ask:
* “Which ones need action?”
* “Which ones just need reassurance?”
* “Which ones can wait?”
This exercise helps prevent your brain from becoming overloaded.
Afterward, feel free to sit quietly for a few minutes to notice the sense of release in your body.
Repeat daily as needed.
