Welcome to Episode 16, with @thafunkyuncle performing ‘F*cked Up’.

“F***** Up”, is a moody and intimate R&B and blues masterpiece that showcases his ability to confront his personal demons. The song emerges from a place of heartbreak and self-awareness, yet also enlightenment. As the young singer/songwriter relinquishes his feelings into the track itself, providing an interesting outlook on life whilst keeping himself vulnerable throughout.

Previously releasing only hip-hop music, this song acts as an entrance into the R&B world. The track depicts itself as a declaration of personal growth and a testament to the strength of character that Uncle Jake lives for. Besides the introspective lyricism, Jake invites the audience through his music to self-reflect on themselves as well, discussing his situations and discovering accountability within his actions.
