It was my first fully realized stage design and after 13 years of projection mapping and live performance this night felt like a huge milestone as a visual artist and VJ.

I am Georg, also known as TAS Visuals, a digital artist from Austria creating hypnotic, fluid live visual journeys for psychedelic trance and techno festivals. With more than 15 years of performance experience, I’ve developed a signature style that’s instantly recognizable. My visual language breathes with the music and the crowd, creating immersive, unforgettable moments.

My Mo:Dem journey began in 2015. The moment that stayed with me was the new Hive stage and dancefloor in 2016. Stepping into that space and seeing how architecture, light, and crowd came together blew many minds, and I knew this was something different. After that, I just wanted to keep coming back.

I work at Mo:Dem as a live VJ and projection mapping specialist for the Hive stage. My role covers projector adjustments, stage mapping, and building a visual package shared among the VJs while supporting them throughout the festival. The goal is a smooth visual flow through the night and help connect the setup with LEDs and lighting.

Developing a visual language that matches the energy of the Hive has been a beautiful challenge. Every edition I return, refine, rebuild, and push it further. Collaboration with artists and other departments creates something unique to Mo:Dem that could not exist anywhere else.

Mo:Dem has shaped me enormously as an artist. Performing full nights for days on end teaches things you cannot learn anywhere else. It is wild, and I love performing there without holding back. Wherever I perform now, I carry a piece of Mo:Dem with me, and I am deeply grateful.

It means family. Over the years I have made lasting friendships with people I have built with, problem-solved with, danced with, and shared unforgettable moments with. We push each other artistically, get through the tough moments, and celebrate when it all comes alive.

More than ten years since my first Mo:Dem, and the love has only deepened. Mo:Dem has left a huge mark on the global underground psychedelic movement through its sound, art direction, architecture, and spirit. It has been the playground I needed, giving me space to express and experiment without fear. I will be forever grateful for that gift
