On Saturday, February 7th, I was gifted the opportunity to teach my first Model Class as a pose instructor in collaboration with @arsuri_art_studio @arsuri_anastasia @houseofemagi @styleshiftimage @jwoodfordhues to teach aspiring models that basics of the craft.

We spent almost 2 hours practicing different poses, discussing different types of photography uses within modeling, and each model left with their own professionally crafted comp card!

The key to styling a visually dynamic outfit is to create harmony between the individual components of the piece. Here I choose to focus on two stand out pieces: first, the black trench coat (a favorite of mine) ; second, the black and white corset (a newer favorite).

To achieve this look, you first put on the coat and shrug it down over your shoulders. Once the position is correct, wrap the corset around your back and fasten it over the coat. The overall effect is a dress that looks expensive and unique (yet doesn’t compromise on comfort).

For accessories, I decided on statement earrings (no necklace) and bangles to give the wrists some color and life. Throw on some fun rings, a pair of shades, your flyest heels - and you’re all set! ~Tam
