@tali__bayer and myself did an art residency at Studio AJUAR on Menorca from April to Mai 2026.

We have both explored the concept of ‘dwelling’ through our art.
The exhibition of our work, which bears the same name, opens today at Studio AJUAR in Menorca.

We like to thank our resident host, the person behind Studio AJUAR, Dani Gutierrez for the invitation, the opportunity and the great hospitality!

I recently had the great pleasure of hand-painting a vase made by @ig_ceramicstudio . The idea came from my dear friend @larahfn , who also took these beautiful photos. Thank you <3

We’re very pleased to have had the opportunity to develop the CI for their second Bookstore BO Campus and to design such a large-scale window display for their shop.
It was a pleasure working on this project, and we’re absolutely happy with the result. Many thanks to @buchladenostertor for their continued trust and for giving us so much creative freedom.
Thank you @brakuno for the beautiful pictures.

- Echoes of dwelling -
During my artist residency on Menorca, I explored the idea of dwelling as something shaped by natural processes and embedded within materials.
The starting point of this work was clay stones collected on the island. I washed, dissolved, and sieved them, slowly refining the material until it transformed into a deep red, malleable clay for sculptural use.
As part of the project, I investigated stones shaped over time by water and wind, paying close attention to the hollows and cavities formed through erosion. These spaces began to resemble small organic dwellings — traces of movement, time, and transformation. I documented these formations and developed drawings inspired by the sculptural structures found within them.
These drawings later became hand-shaped stamps made from the clay I had processed myself. Using a mixture of white tempera paint and liquefied wild clay, I transferred the forms onto fabric.
The resulting patterns abstract the structures embedded in the stones while reflecting on dwelling as a trace of presence — a space shaped through the relationship between body, material, and landscape.
The entire process remained fully analog, which gave the work a distinct sense of intimacy and slowness. Since my practice often revolves around digital tools and computer-based work, working in this way offered a different kind of focus and immediacy, grounded in the physical process of handling and transforming the material by hand.

I’ve been creating and selling prints for a long time, but one thing was always missing — a clear way to show who’s behind the work.

That’s finally changed

From now on, every order includes a sticker with all the key info, so you always know who created your print and product. A small addition that makes a difference.

I had the pleasure of creating the CI for @bistro.baerbel, a bistro in Leipzig specializing in wine and shared plates.

Beyond shaping the visual identity, I was also part of the interior design team — bringing the concept to life through colours, surfaces, and fabrics.
A truly beautiful experience to work across both graphic and spatial design.

It was a pleasure collaborating with the talented design team — @ha.holiday , who led all textile-related interiors, and @wernerundwalter , the creative mind behind the overall interior design concept. Very inspiring work all around!

This is my 2026 calendar.
The object of inspiration crossed my path during a gardening session. That’s when I realized that many of my 2025 graphics and illustrations featured dots and circles, so this illustration felt like a natural conclusion.

Printed in Burgundy @wemakeitberlin 🤍
