For those who don't know, Tachyon Audio @tachyonaudio is the record label being run by the core Subspace and Denver Sound Society @denversoundsociety crew, Nick Payne (Atalef @_atalef_ , 1/2 of Inhabitants), Sam (Paradaux @paradaux, 1/2 of Inhabitants, Sidney Frost), John (Arc for music and design), Derek (Deciprocal @broncosstreak), Nick (Silent Observer, The Anubis @TheAnubisUS), and Seth (Acidbat @acidbat). Between the six of us we have over 145 years of techno- realm music and event production experience.

Tachyon Audio launched in 2017 in Denver, and we've compiled 17 releases, including six vinyl releases, by a range of talented artists. We're focused on sounds in the techno realm targeting sweaty, dark dance floors, with large, high-quality sound systems.

If you're interested in getting involved through learning and teaching, volunteering, and/or internships please get in touch. We're going to start offering personally-catered formal and informal music and industry educational offerings and would love to learn and grow alongside Denver's underground communities with the goal of contributing to the growth of our culture through high quality music and event production. Torae is a Denver-based underground selector, curator, and multidisciplinary creative that knows how to dive off the deep end with hypnotic sets that blur the lines between minimal, microhouse, tech house, garage, electro, and afterhours grooves. A Colorado dance music mainstay with roots stretching back to the early 2000s, Torae built her sound through years of digging into underground scenes, collecting records, and studying the history and architecture of dance music culture.

Her sets balance precision and unpredictability, weaving together stripped-down percussion, rolling basslines, funky flair, timeless gems, and emotionally charged late-night energy. She has shared lineups with artists including Gene Farris, VNSSA, and Cosmjn, while continuing to evolve through Denver’s underground community as both a DJ and creative force behind Crossfade Global and Torae Today.
