We are thrilled to be hosting an in store event this Saturday in support of the legendary experimental record label Table of the Elements!

It will be an immersive evening of sound and story from the outer edges of experimental culture.

Matthew Welch, the radical bagpipe composer will making a live video appearance with Q&A direct from California. He will also be sharing with us an exclusive video of his music.

There will be a screening of a short film about Table of the Elements which was founded by Jeff Hunt in 1993.

We’ll also be playing some of the original records in the shop.

This event is one of a series of launch events taking place across the globe and Umbrella Vinyl is thrilled to be involved as a partner and supporter of Table of the Elements as it releases records from its 2025 catalogue.

Finished our rehearsal today with Glen Steenkiste working on our score for Tony Conrad’s The Flicker which we will be performing at Blikfabriek and OCCII in December.

Listening back to our final set I really think we found a way to honour the film and play in Tony’s spirit all the while remaining our true self.
