Musician Phil Eizenberg urgently needed life-saving prostate cancer surgery. But even with his loved ones and music mates rallying around him, he simply couldn’t cover the full cost.

Thanks to our generous supporters, we were able to cover the gap so Phil could have surgery quickly and start recovery.

“Without the support of Support Act, I would not have been able to finance my prostate operation quickly.”

Your donation helps music workers facing crisis get urgent support when they need it most. If you can, please give today. All donations are tax-deductible.

Are matinees the new self-care? Or is @ethancavanaghaha the only comedian / art-goer who likes some early shut-eye?

The full episode is here and we kick things off with comedian Ethan Cavanagh who was “diagnosed” as a stand-up at the ripe old age of 15 and has been managing the symptoms ever since.

Tune in as Ethan shares the highs, the hard lessons, and the occasional spectacular bomb on stage. From early missteps to unpacking the myth that funny people are always fine, Ethan offers a candid look at life, laughter and mental health in the spotlight.

😜 More hehe and haha at the link in bio.

The Support Act Wellbeing Helpline is delivered with support from Creative Victoria, Sound NSW and @creative.workplaces.
