Dad Genes picked up a Best Documentary Feature nomination this past weekend at the Sunscreen Film Festival in St. Petersburg, Florida. Congrats to Lunatic for taking the top doc prize.

Director @craigdowning and producer Matt Isaac weathered tornado warnings to take questions from a sharp, curious audience — our Q&A went so long we had to be hustled out of the theater.

Tip of the hat to the friends we made along the way: @legendofjuanjosemundo, who took home two awards, and @tylersmithfilm, whose short Never to Return also pulled in two.

Coincidentally, the same weekend, our friends at @uncleroyfilm from Thessaloniki Int'l Doc Fest were conquering the other side of the state at @outshinefilm in FTL. Call it the weekend that indie docs took over Florida!
