Olivia Barrett is a film and television actress and elementary educator. With over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, she has developed a strong foundation in the craft of acting and a profound appreciation for the power of story telling.

As an elementary school teacher, Olivia is equally passionate about guiding young minds, encouraging curiosity, imagination, and confidence in her students. She believes the arts play a vital role in education and in helping people discover their voice.

Balancing her work in both the classroom and the entertainment industry, Olivia continues to inspire others through creativity, dedication, and a lifelong love of learning and performance.

Ramiya Pushparajah is a Toronto-based filmmaker with 14 years of experience in camera operating, editing, directing, and producing across film and digital media. A graduate of Vancouver Film School’s Film Production program in 2012, her work has been selected for festivals including the Toronto Short Film Festival, International Film Festival of South Asia, Festival of Recorded Movement, Reel Asian Film Festival, and Fashion Art Toronto.

Ramiya spent five years as a part-time director’s assistant to Brian K. Roberts (The Simpsons, Little Mosque on the Prairie), gaining hands-on mentorship in television and film production. She also trained extensively in acting and improvisation, studying with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Toronto’s Bad Dog Theatre Company, and Stella Adler method coach Alan C. Peterson.

Committed to amplifying stories from marginalized and newcomer communities, Ramiya curated a short film showcase for the Tamil Arts Collective in collaboration with Regent Park Film Festival in 2020 and 2025. She also recently mentored young racialized filmmakers through Guild Festival Theatre’s Youth Engagement Scarborough program.

Midnight Murungai marks her first narrative short as a writer-director, reflecting her dedication to culturally grounded storytelling and community-centered filmmaking.
