The peak of my musical life.

Recorded at the Berlin Meistersaal — 30 musicians, one room, one take — together with my dream band and the Odesa Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra.
No overdubs, no edits — just one pure, raw and wonderful moment captured in real time.

I’m celebrating the release in Odesa, where so much of the energy for this project was born.

Sebastian Studnitzkys Kooperation mit dem Kammerorchester der Philharmonie ODESA ist eine ergreifende modern-klassische Hommage an die Stadt und ihre Bewohner*innen inmitten des russischen Angriffskrieges.

Der ECHO Jazz- und OPUS Klassik-Preisträger Sebastian Studnitzky hat im Juli 2023 in der Philharmonie Odessa mit dem Odesa Symphonic Orchestra unter der Leitung von Volodymyr Dikiy seine Kompositionen aufgenommen.
Seit 2024 wurden 6 Konzerte in der Ukraine und 20 Konzerte in Deutschland gespielt. Die Einnahmen der Tour unterstützen Projekte in der Ukraine – zur Hilfe für Kriegswaisen und zur Herstellung von Erste-Hilfe-Sets.

Sebastian Studnitzky’s collaboration with the Chamber Orchestra of the Odesa Philharmonic is a moving, modern-classical homage to the city of Odesa and its people amidst the ongoing Russian war of aggression.
The ECHO Jazz and OPUS Klassik award-winning artist recorded his compositions in July 2023 at the Odesa Philharmonic Hall together with the Odesa Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Volodymyr Dykyi.
Since 2024, the project has been performed in six concerts across Ukraine and twenty concerts in Germany. The proceeds from the tour support humanitarian projects in Ukraine – aiding war orphans and funding the production of first aid kits.

In December 2024 we recorded my new album KY! live at the legendary Meistersaal Berlin –
a place where Bowie, U2 and Depeche Mode once worked.

30 musicians – my band, the Chamber Orchestra of the Odesa Philharmonic – and a small audience in the room.
One space, one take, no overdubs.

The new single AMAYA – out on October 24 – was born in this session.
A piece that connects the sound of KY! with the spirit of our MEMENTO ODESA project.

Zum 100. Geburtstag von Miles Davis entstand in der Händel-Halle ein außergewöhnliches Konzerterlebnis, inspiriert von Davis’ legendärem Album »Aura«.

Zu erleben waren zwei Uraufführungen: „In Miles’ Aura – Suite for Jazz Trumpet and Orchestra“ sowie „Beyond the Sphere – Improvisation for Orchestra and Band“.

Fabrice Bollon, Chefdirigent der Staatskapelle Halle, und der Jazztrompeter Sebastian Studnitzky kreierten gemeinsam mit Jazzcombo und Orchester spannende neue Klangwelten an der Schnittstelle von Jazz, Orchesterklang und Improvisation, in denen die künstlerische Vision von Miles Davis in die Gegenwart überführt wurde.

Die Stücke schufen eine besondere Atmosphäre und machten den Abend zu einem gelungenen Auftakt der KlangART Vision 2026, der das Publikum begeisterte.
