It’s always a little nerve-wracking to mail my art-babies so far, but I’m sure they’ll make it safe and sound:)

Looking back at all my photos of old portraits and events really is like looking through a diary from the past year. Each portrait has a part of me from that moment in it, and it’s so special to share that part of myself with so many people! ❤️❤️❤️

I always try to take pictures of completed portraits before I give them out because it helps me document my progress- both as an artist and as a business owner. It also helps me remember all the new friends I make at events and helps me gauge my average speed. It’s so fun to look back on my camera roll and see how many people I’ve painted! On a related note, if anyone has suggestions on what to do about my very full phone storage and photos app, I’m all ears! 😅 Between my millions of baby photos and the thousands of paintings, I’m in big trouble! 🙃

365 days in business! Thousands of guests painted. Countless hours poured into Studio Wride. This year had been absolutely packed with adventures and growth. I can’t believe this time last year, I took the jump and offially started Studio Wride LLC.

This business has meant so much to me and changed me in many ways that I’m proud of. From being interviewed on the news to traveling to 6 states to paint at weddings, I have achieved so much and I’m very grateful to everyone who helped to make it happen. To my clients, thank you for your trust, I truly hope your guests loved their portraits. To my friends and family who took excellent care of my daughter so I could do my best work, I appreciate you more than you know! To every guest who has tipped, complimented, reviewed, and shared word of my business, your support brings Studio Wride to new heights, and I can’t thank you all enough.

I can’t wait to see what year 2 brings! I have some awesome events coming up, can’t wait to tell you all about it!

Just some happy guests with their Studio Wride portrait!

This was a happy surprise for me, but it wasn’t completely random! I actually painted yesterday’s brides when they were guests at the pictured couple’s wedding at Lavender Ridge last year! So glad that they had such a good experience as guests that they very generously flew my assistant and I out to New Mexico for their wedding. And it was great to reconnect with these wonderful past clients! 💜💜💜

My eraser (and Studio Wride!) is enjoying sunny New Mexico today! It looks like it’s going to be another beautiful wedding!
