Studio Loutsis
A practice committed to crafting meaningful and lasting design in dialogue with contemporary culture.

SEGD Member Studio Loutsis (@studio_loutsis) has produced a bespoke wayfinding, signage, and donor recognition system for The Lindemann Performing Arts Center, a new landmark performing arts venue at Brown University.
Studio Loutsis worked in close collaboration with REX (@rexarchitecture) to develop a wayfinding, signage, and donor recognition system that is visually and functionally integrated into the furniture, the light art installation by @leo_villareal, and the interior and exterior architecture of the building.

Join us this Thursday at the Van Alen Institute for a panel discussion between Joshua Ramus, FAIA, founder of @rexarchitecture, Craig Dykers, co-founder of @snohetta, and our founder Taylor Loutsis, moderated by @diana_b. The presentation and panel titled, What Language Leaves Behind: Integrating Graphics and Architecture, will discuss how close collaborations between graphic designers and architects blur disciplinary boundaries and support more cohesive, integrated work — drawing from our work with REX on The Lindemann Performing Arts Center and with Snøhetta on the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library (opening July 2026), where Studio Loutsis served as signage consultant on both projects. Thank you to @van_alen for hosting the panel, and we look forward to seeing clients, collaborators, and our creative community from around NYC in attendance.

For the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, our role as signage consultant — in close partnership with Snøhetta — centered on incorporating architectural materials into the signage and wayfinding system. Observing how the architecture recedes into the geography, nearly disappearing as it blends with the landscape, reaffirmed our commitment as a practice to designing signage that is seamlessly integrated with architecture. Thank you to the many, many partnerships formed in helping bring our vision to life.
The final images show a prototype we studied to understand how the main Library identity signage at the entrance, made of large, dimensional, illuminated wooden letters, could be integrated with the existing facade designed by Snøhetta.

Last week, our team had a deeply inspiring visit to Douglas Fanning’s studio and showroom in Red Hook, where we learned about his team’s process, craftsmanship, and the history embedded in his objects as we begin a comprehensive rebrand of his world. Our role will center on better positioning his practice within the luxury and artistic furniture landscape, translating the desires of luxury and the imagination within his work into art direction, and designing a new website experience, print materials, and a thoughtful journey for how his pieces are sourced by galleries, collectors, decorators and architects.

Excited to share our recently completed identity and signage for The Beadle Building in Phoenix, AZ.
Originally designed by modernist architect Alfred Newman Beadle (1927–1998), the 1970 building is a local landmark celebrated for its floating upper levels and bold, gridded façade. After decades of disrepair, Chamberlin + Company restored the 21,000 sq ft structure with local architecture firm, Kaiserworks, transforming it into a dynamic new headquarters that honors Beadle’s legacy.
Studio Loutsis developed a visual identity. motion, and signage system inspired by the building’s distinctive geometry, introducing a custom wordmark and typographic system anchored by Favorit Mono by ABC Dinamo.
Thank you @christoph.g.kaiser for bringing us on for this special project.
Full case study coming soon.
