Commissioned by a special client a while ago I have not had the opportunity to make another pair of these fine little hydraulic formed quilted earring studs.

Oxidised in copper with an engraved sterling silver backing, custom made butterfly clip and a fine sliver of American Walnut- these little pillows with whisks of horse hair sit quiet nicely below the earlobe.

Finally this pair will go to another special client in Shanghai.

The Streetsweepers necklace was the first design in the Streetsweepers Series-a collection of brush pieces that took the humble and often unseen process of street sweeping as a starting point to develop works that investigated the machines, process and people who conduct the work of street sweeping.
Reframing the process as an important and celebratory act of care for the environment, each other and the planet we inhabit.
