1432 R has gained international recognition for championing ethiopiyawi, a revolutionary new genre pioneered by Endeguena Mulu and Mikael Seifu, while also releasing cutting edge drum and bass, techno, house, and experimental electronic music. Beyond her own label, Lim’s productions have found homes on respected imprints including Ryan Elliott’s Faith Beat and Max D’s Future Times, cementing her reputation as a forward thinking artist in the global electronic music landscape.

As a community builder, Lim co-founded Dance Club, a beloved Washington DC based party series alongside Tommy C and Baronhawk Poitier. The series has cultivated a devoted following through its commitment to o creating robust dance floors that champion radical acceptance, sex positivity, and unabashed care and empathy. From ‘90s Cleveland to present-day Berlin, Dan Curtin has shaped the sound of underground electronic music for over three decades. With 70+ singles, 9 albums, and iconic releases on labels like Mobilee, Peacefrog, Strictly Rhythm, and Soma, his work continues to inspire generations of DJs and dancers alike.

If your favorite DJ’s DJ has a deep bag, they’ve rinsed a Dan Curtin record. His music defies categories from deep techno to soulful house, raw electro, and everything in between. Dan is always forward-thinking and unapologetically raw.
