Title Sequence for Mrs. Deshpande (@jiohotstar Series)

Starring @madhuridixitnene, Mrs. Deshpande follows a convicted serial killer who assists the police in tracking down a copycat murderer who uses the same green rope as the murder weapon. This series was directed by @nageshkukunoor and produced by @applausesocial.

For the title sequence, the idea was to place the viewer in the final moments of the victim. An endless length of green rope weaves through a void, slowly forming shapes that resemble hands, feet, and eventually a face. The rope finally reveals the face of the killer herself, Mrs. Deshpande, the last thing the victim sees before everything fades out.

The entire sequence exists in an abstract limbo space, somewhere between life and death, giving the visuals a dreamlike, almost fever-dream quality.

Creating the rope animation and sculptural forms required a mix of different CG techniques, along with careful simulation and compositing work. We also shot a live-action plate of the incredible Madhuri Dixit specifically for the title sequence, which was a rare and very exciting opportunity for us.

Making Of: ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Intro

Here’s a peek into our process for designing the official opening sequence for the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2026.

This year, the idea was to capture the fiery spirit of the cricketers and the burning passion that drives them to compete at the highest level of the game. We used the element of fire as the core visual motif, aligning it with the official branding colours of the season to create a look that feels intense, energetic and true to the tournament.

The sequence was built using a mix of CG animation, digital compositing and motion graphics to harmonise the brand assets with the fire elements.

We created custom CG shots of the ball, bat and trophy inside the stadium to give the intro a cinematic scale and sense of spectacle.

A lot of time also went into shaping the edit with the music, making sure every cut, hit and transition carried the dynamism and momentum that a World Cup opener demands.

Always an honour collaborating with the @icc and @jiostar, and being part of a project that celebrates cricket at the biggest stage. 🏏🔥

VFX Breakdown for Nirvana by Boat ft. @ranveersingh 

Here’s a quick look at how I created the VFX for this set of three ad films for @boat.nirvana, made with @catnipculture and @talentedagency.

All three films were shot entirely against blue screen, which meant every world you see was built from scratch in post. The process involved designing distinct environments, layering CGI elements with 2D motion graphics, and then carefully integrating the live-action footage so the actor felt naturally embedded within these spaces.

A big part of the challenge was balancing realism with stylisation. Each environment had its own visual logic, and a lot of time went into compositing, lighting integration, and visual treatment to ensure the compositions felt intentional and compelling.

The project moved fast, but that pace made it even more exciting to solve. Huge thanks to the dream team that made it such a joy to work on. Special shoutout to @agastya_bhatia and @shreyantito for holding post together, and to @reemsen for being an absolute pleasure to collaborate with.

VFX for Nirvana by Boat ft. @ranveersingh [3/3]

Film 3 of 3: Battery Life

I had the chance to work on a really fun set of ad films for @boat.nirvana, created by @catnipculture & @talentedagency. This film depicts the long-lasting battery life of the TWS earbuds that allows days to turn into nights but the music never stops.

The entire film was shot against a blue screen, so it was a big challenge to make every single environment in post, and blend everything together with some stylised compositing. I used CGI elements and a lot of 2D assets to make this come to life. It was also really fun to take design elements from @rushilbhatnagar, my partner in crime from my college days, and develop them further for the final outcome!

It was a really fast paced and fun project, and I absolutely loved the people I worked with, and I think that befriending them was my true gain out of this project! The best post producers @agastya_bhatia, @shreyantito, and the coolest director @reemsen!

VFX for Nirvana by Boat ft. @ranveersingh [2/3]

Film 2 of 3: Signature Sound

I got the chance to work on a really fun set of ad films for @boat.nirvana, created by @catnipculture and @talentedagency. This film visualises the product’s explosive, yet detailed signature sound profile.

The entire spot was shot on blue screen, so every environment had to be built in post. It was a big challenge but also a blast to solve using a mix of CGI elements, 2D assets and stylised compositing to bring the world together. I got to work with some design elements created by @royalbengal and develop them further to make this world.

This project moved quickly, but the vibe of the team made it super fun. Huge thanks to dream producers @agastya_bhatia and @shreyantito, and the resident dreamer @reemsen for being the coolest director to collaborate with!

Film 1 of 3: Active Noise Cancellation

I got the chance to work on a really fun set of ad films for @boat.nirvana, created by @catnipculture and @talentedagency. This film visualises the product’s active noise cancellation by turning a chaotic intersection into the silent void of deep space.

The entire spot was shot on blue screen, so every environment had to be built in post. It was a big challenge but also a blast to solve using a mix of CGI elements, 2D assets and stylised compositing to bring the world together.

This project moved quickly, but the vibe of the team made it super fun. Huge thanks to dream producers @agastya_bhatia and @shreyantito, and the resident dreamer @reemsen for being the coolest director to collaborate with!

Tile Sequence Breakdown: Maharani Season 4 (@sonylivindia)

Here’s a look at how we created the title sequence for Maharani Season 4 👑

The concept was to frame Rani Bharti’s rise as a clear David vs Goliath moment. Using the metaphor of chess, she becomes a lone Queen advancing toward a towering King and his army, set against a stylised miniature version of Delhi that represents the seat of political power.

The entire sequence was built in CG from scratch. Every structure, landscape and prop was designed to feel like a hand-crafted miniature, complete with scaled textures, precise surface detailing and controlled imperfections that give the world its tactile charm. We pushed the lighting heavily, using sharp contrasts and pockets of shadow to evoke the cloak-and-dagger nature of politics and to heighten the sense of tension within the environment.

We also sculpted detailed CG likenesses of eight key characters from the series, including @iamhumaq, @vipin.sta and others, to ground the metaphor in the personalities driving the story.
