Put the Metal to the Petal
The freshly glass-blasted bronze „Eternity“ is already a beauty to behold, but only a good polish makes it perfect. Enter the needles: held at a low angle, this tool condenses the surface rather than abrasing it, creating a wonderfully „vintage“ polished texture that can be further refined with rotaries if need(l)ed. A technique I learned from master chaser @haedi_, working on an earlier piece at @strassacker

I’m loving the material and process discovery in the making of this piece. We’ve got some more work to do but soon this will be cast in bronze.
