Being a part of Melbournes largest annual bass music event that has been built up over so many years by its community, especially considering I’ve been here for 3.5 years, feels incredibly honorable. Both established DJs and producers in the Melbourne scene, Rex the Bard and Strafe are about to get experimental for their set at Electropolis.

Rex the Bard makes high-octane tracks for the everyday, and when not making drum and bass, she creates future garage, glitchy footwork, lowkey breakcore, and seapunk.

Strafe has been producing music for 15 years, balancing tech-trance cyber themes with vibrant 170 bass music. He also focuses on teaching production, mixing, and sound design at @mist.audio
