I have synesthesia which creates colors in my mind’s eye when I hear sound. For this series of paintings, I’m painting portraits of singers who shaped the 90s and what I see when I hear their songs.

I have synesthesia a condition which manifests in a few ways. One is that I see shapes of color when I hear sounds. The background is what I “see” when I hear the song “On a Plane” by Nirvana (which wasn’t available as an audio choice for this post).
