For this look, @elips___ was inspired by @pierre_olivier_persin’s work on @coralie_fargeat’s The Substance. He wanted a monstrous appearance with his own face with goggled eyes and opened mouth coming out the back of his face.
To create the effect, I did a silicone face cast with a semi-open mouth, and cast a monster clay positive out of it. I then rearranged the positive onto the back of head armature. I resculpted the eyes open, deepened the mouth and sculpted teeth and a surreal scar contracture texture on the side of the face.
Once the sculpting part was done, I molded everything and cast a platsil gel face.
Then for the fun part : the face was added to a pre-existing silicone mask from @immortalmasks, Goliath, sculpted by @andrewfreeman27.
I glued and seamed Ely’s face onto the back of it!
I painted the silicone in a skintone shade that matched the Goliath mask and added Ely’s iconic mug on top of it. I also did a quick pair of eyes by adding prints of Ely’s real irises on 2 off-white resin spheres, and added more clear resin to mimic the corneal dome.
I also punched a few strands of hair onto the mask 💇🏻‍♀️

Everything was done in a very short amount of time but made it on time for screen time 🙏🏻

I painted the silicone in a skintone shade that matched the Goliath mask and added Ely’s iconic mug on top of it. I also did a quick pair of eyes by adding prints of Ely’s real irises on 2 off-white resin spheres, and added more clear resin to mimic the corneal dome.
I also punched a few strands of hair onto the mask 💇🏻‍♀️

Everything was done in a very short amount of time but made it on time for screen time 🙏🏻
