Out of all the drones I've ever flown, I always end up back on a good 5" set up with 5" UDP-Guards ❤️ It's definitely become my personal favorite all-around flight experience, and while there may be times other drones can be used, a good 5" with UDP-Guards can perform the widest range of purposes using a single drone! 🛠
From indoor to outdoor to calm to windy af to freestyle to cinematic.. no need to worry about crashing or changing props since they're indestructible! 💪
The smooth footage is icing on the cake. Just the fact multiple drones with them can be crammed together in a luggage bag or inside a back pack for example, props on, and not have to worry about anything bending or replacing props.. or even taking props off.. ever.. everything is just ready when needed and safer/quieter/smoother when doing so.
I haven't changed the guards/props or anything on the drone in this pic in over a year!
And for any reason I need a full fledge screaming 5" freestyle racing drone again, the same drone can be flown without the guards on the same tune and vice versa.
If a 5" FPV drone is tuned before the UDP-Guards go on - then it will fly very similarly and even smoother with them on, on the SAME tune! No retuning necessary!

A little Reverse Dead Cat (RDC) works extremely well for flippy floppy and responsive freestyle! I've been testing this for about a year now and am very happy with it.
This rig is 640g AUW with a full GoPro 10 w/ battery and an 1100mah 6s lipo! It handles like freestyle quads did with a Session5 and a 4s lipo and only weighs a few grams more even with the much heavier, bulkier camera and battery.
The CoG is more central overall and the longer front arms give the front props more leverage than the rear which helps the quad be more responsive in the natural forward flying angle.
Lipo can be flown front to back or side to side which both have their distinct individual benefits depending on your flight style.
From the beginning I designed the Stallion frame arms to be interchangeable - ALL the different 5" and 6" arms fit and are universal together - so if you use a set of compact arms in the front and symmetrical x arms in the rear you have a "Dead Cat" Stallion.. and if you take that and switch it so the front is symmetrical x arms and the rear are compact arms then that is this "Reverse Dead Cat" version! You can also use all 4 symmetrical x or 4 compact, etc.

The CoG is more central overall and the longer front arms give the front props more leverage than the rear which helps the quad be more responsive in the natural forward flying angle.
Lipo can be flown front to back or side to side which both have their distinct individual benefits depending on your flight style.
From the beginning I designed the Stallion frame arms to be interchangeable - ALL the different 5" and 6" arms fit and are universal together - so if you use a set of compact arms in the front and symmetrical x arms in the rear you have a "Dead Cat" Stallion.. and if you take that and switch it so the front is symmetrical x arms and the rear are compact arms then that is this "Reverse Dead Cat" version! You can also use all 4 symmetrical x or 4 compact, etc.

A little Reverse Dead Cat (RDC) works extremely well for flippy floppy and responsive freestyle! I've been testing this for about a year now and am very happy with it.
This rig is 640g AUW with a full GoPro 10 w/ battery and an 1100mah 6s lipo! It handles like freestyle quads did with a Session5 and a 4s lipo and only weighs a few grams more even with the much heavier, bulkier camera and battery.
