Pemuda Sinarmas is an Indonesian cassette jockey pioneer and cultural practitioner who brings analog sound into lively conversation with contemporary music culture.

Since 2015, he has performed exclusively using original cassette tapes, treating them not as nostalgic relics but as active, living archives.

With a playful yet rigorous approach, Pemuda Sinarmas transforms Indonesian popular music—spanning disco, pop, dangdut, house, funkot, and rare regional recordings—into dynamic experiences for modern dance floors and listening spaces.

Irama Pantai Selatan was formed by Arief Fauzan and Sigit Ezra since December 2017.

This ukulele duo introduced a musical style also they own genre called “Maritime Pop”, a genre inspired by Indonesian pop music of the 1950s–1960s such as Bing Slamet, Oslan Hussein, and Orkes Sjaiful Bahri, infused with influences from Latin music and Tropicalia.

Their lyrics explore themes of Indonesia’s coastal life, the sea, and the many dynamics
surrounding it.

“Bermusik Sampai Mati” direkam secara live di Odesa Studio atas nama bersenang-senang, seperti masa-masa awal semuanya dimulai. Dari kumpul-kumpul kecil, tongkrongan yang berubah jadi band, sampai mimpi sederhana untuk terus memainkan musik selama mungkin.

Lagu ini menjadi cerita perjalanan bangkutaman sejak tahun 1999 hingga hari ini. Tentang waktu yang berjalan dan berlalu, tentang hidup yang pada akhirnya selalu membawa kami kembali ke ruang latihan, ke panggung kecil, ke lagu-lagu yang terus dimainkan bersama.

“Hey boy, hidup cuma sekali, masa iya cuma gitu-gitu lagi.”

Kalimat itu seperti pengingat untuk terus bergerak, terus membuat lagu, terus mencari ombak baru. Karena sejak awal, kami memang hanya ingin bermain musik dengan jujur dan menikmati prosesnya.

Ada masa ketika semuanya terasa dekat dengan mimpi besar. Berharap suatu hari bisa “sebesar bumi”. Tapi semakin lama berjalan, kami sadar bahwa bertahan, tetap berkarya, dan masih bisa merilis album sampai hari ini adalah sesuatu yang jauh lebih berarti.

Mungkin kami tidak pernah benar-benar tahu apakah musik adalah hidup kami. Tapi hidup selalu membawa kami kembali ke musik. Dan mungkin itu alasan kenapa semuanya terus dijalani sampai sekarang — sampai mati.
