Square Wave’s new single Invincible is a rebellious anthem with a huge singalong chorus, big distorted guitars blended with fuzzy shoegaze, grunge and alt-rock elements.

Square Wave return with the second single from their highly anticipated upcoming EP ‘A Place In Time’. The track was written during the Covid pandemic as the band hone in on feelings of angst, anguish and lost youth. Toying with the idea of the Puer Aeternus and so-called “Peter Pan Syndrome”, the band explore the dangers of giving up freedoms in favour of protection.

Invincible is about sacrificing safety and security for the sake of personal development and freedom. The track has the biggest, most cathartic chorus the band have released to date. Will you help Square Wave rule the airwaves?

Our first full EP ‘A Place In Time’ will be released on 29th January. We’d like to thank everyone who helped us get to this point and we’re excited to share our first full body of work with you. We put these songs together during a time of uncertainty and isolation.

Braden and Alex had to meet outside to work on these songs due to the ongoing pandemic at the time. We weren’t sure if we’d ever even get the chance to perform them live at all but as things eased up we built these songs further by testing them on the live circuit. We feel very proud of what we’ve achieved here and we hope that you enjoy listening, thanks for everything!
