At the kind invitation of Randy and Kristy Pitchford, the owners of the Magic Castle, and Erika Larsen, whose family created the Magic Castle, Mike Elizalde and the Spectral team built this feature and recently installed it. The infinite wine cellar, the entirety of which occupies a mere three feet wide by three feet high by two feet deep space. For this past Super Bowl, Spectral Motion was challenged with the task of creating two full size PEPSI Polar Bear costumes for media appearances in both New York and San Francisco. Our team accomplished this assignment in record time, and even fabricated custom fleece jackets, signature jumpsuits, and a gold medallion necklace for the bears!

Just in time for the Halloween Season, we present a flashback to SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK presented by Guillermo del Toro and directed by the wonderful Andre Ovredal. This was a dream project for Spectral Motionas we were presented with the challenge of translating the haunting watercolor illustrations of Stephen Gammell into physical creatures and makeups.

From the SPECTRAL MOTION Archives - one of our all time favorites - the 2015 Oscar winning Best Picture BIRDMAN or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) from director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu. This was a true challenge for our team to create a fully realized original superhero costume in an extremely short time frame. A real joy to bring this one to the screen!

A 2011 FLASHBACK … Bringing the gorilla-like creatures to life at Spectral Motion for the cult classic ATTACK THE BLOCK from Director @mrjoecornish . This highly underrated film deserves a viewing if you have not had the chance to see it! An outstanding performance from suit performer extraordinaire @terrynotary and a beautiful suit (with glowing teeth!) from our team.
