Collaboration with us, they are also welcoming voices of the student community. We’re inviting you to ROT – an evening of poetry, music, and art about something that unites us all. The (brain)rot of algorithms feeding on the last of your serotonin. The social rot of misdeeds we’ve stopped noticing. And the organic rot, through which everything that has ever lived gives itself back.

Open call ꫂ❁ De Wijk De Wereld

Spaces is teaming up with @dewijkdewereld at SPOT Groningen — a project that gathers the stories of a Groningen neighbourhood and turns them into a live performance of theatre, dance, music, poetry and more. This edition centres Selwerd, and we were invited to bring our international voices into the mix.

We’re looking for:
⋆˚࿔ poets to co-write an opening piece about Selwerd;
⋆˚࿔ poet-guides to lead audiences through the Stadsschouwburg;
⋆˚࿔ visual artists to build experimental installations of text and image;
⋆˚࿔ poets to recite pieces for the whole building via the intercom.

!! More ideas are welcome – we are creating this event together.

De Wijk De Wereld is terug in Selwerd! Daarom organiseren we vier gezellige kookavonden @wijkrestaurantdeduindoorn Kom langs, ontmoet je buurtgenoten en geniet van lekker eten.

En… het zou natuurlijk geen DWDW Kookt zijn zonder een culturele verrassing! @babaddaar en @spaces.gro zorgen tijdens de kookavonden voor een bijzondere ervaring. Dit wil je niet missen!

Spaces: Gronings poëziecollectief van internationale en Groningse studenten.
