How it works
We create a dummy head to match your head composition exactly. Just send 4 photos (front, back, both sides), and our scanner handles the rest.
Mics in each ear capture sound as if you’re on set (so yes, you can still argue with the director in real time) and UHD cameras in the eyes let you see exactly what the dummy sees.
Audio & picture is transmitted globally via Starlink, the worlds most advanced satellite system, using our (Patent Applied For) Low Orbit Audio Transport software. Near-zero latency. (between 0.05ms to 10 minutes) and absolutely No dropouts. (T&Cs apply*)

*Dropouts may still occur at the exact moment something important happens.

Before Soundkit existed, Martyn was building mixers by hand under the name Filmtech.

A customer has just sent us this photo of one of those original Filmtech mixers. It’s still in use, currently open on the bench for a bit of routine maintenance, but yes, still doing the job decades later.
We reckon this one is about 25 years old!
