This Sat 5/23, come to the where the new CORE/Hub community center will be for Altadena, in the lot near the recycling center on Lincoln.

There will take place a healing ceremony for the land and people where you will also be able to create something special with clay for the 1000 Voices mosaic!

The 3rd annual Earth Day Altadena!

We were so excited to once again collaborate with @soulforceproject @unausapasadena @mytriberise and many more organizations on bringing to life this community event!

Shoutout to @greencircle_sgv for helping keep the event minimal waste.

Featuring plant-based food from @theveganjoint @fresca_sigflvrs 💚

Together we served over 200 plant-based meals which saved over 100k gallons of water compared to animal product alternatives.

Happy Earth Day to all and I hope you consider endorsing and volunteering for @plantbasedtreaty this Earth Day!

Join us for an all-levels Afro-Latin drumming workshop exploring rhythms and songs rooted in the African diaspora of Latin America. Through traditional repertoire, call-and-response, and ensemble playing, participants will learn foundational rhythmic concepts while connecting rhythm, voice, and movement. The workshop emphasizes groove, listening, cultural context, and community-building through collective music-making.
