This is an absolute dream come true. We made this video in my living room with a dream, one sofa, a whole lot of props, and the most incredible team I could have asked for. 🫶

Everything fell into place beyond what I could have imagined, and what makes this even more special to me, is that the people you see on screen are not just characters, but REAL people that I’m lucky enough to call my friends (Rana, Min, and Katie i love u).

To everyone that helped bring this to life, thank you for everything, I am beyond grateful. 🖤

it’s hard to articulate quite what this moment means to me… i am a dreamer. music is an escape for me, both as a listener and a creator. when i was growing up listening to my favourite artists, i wanted to (and still do) lose myself in the worlds of their projects and albums, for hours and hours on end. which is why making a body of work was so important to me at this moment in time. i want you to lose yourself in my music, in my words, in my art, in my world. we are living in an age where the consumption of art is more like fast food, and i am proud of myself for having the faith and trust to disappear for 2 YEARS to work on my craft and create the project that has become “ODYSSEY”. I can’t quite believe that it is actually now yours… i hope it makes you feel something - if it does that much, it was worth it. 🫶🏽

i want to preface this with a statement:
i make music and art because i have to. because it feels essential to my survival. because creating something from thin air that did not exist before, and spending hours chiseling away at that thing until you feel it is the best (and by best i mean truest) version of itself that it can be, only to then breathe a sigh of relief at the realisation that the process/song/thing is complete and somehow life makes slightly more sense as a result, is to me one of the greatest feelings in the entire world. writing songs and producing music feels so real and true to the essence of who i am, that if you listen to my songs hard enough, you will know more about me than a conversation could ever convey, no matter how long. having said that, over the last twelve months i’ve reconned deeply with my relationship to music, deciding on multiple occasions to stop all together, only to return over an over to this thing i love so much. i have felt broken by everything that comes with being an artist in the 21st century. i knew that if i was tocontinue, it needed to be in a way that made sense to me, in a way that felt sustainable and true.

so this is me, coming back, gently.
