The name literally means:
ผัด (phat/pad) = stir-fried
กะเพรา (kaphrao/kra pao) = holy basil
It’s meat, garlic, chilies, holy basil, fish sauce, oyster sauce, a little sugar — fast, fiery, salty, fragrant, slightly sweet, ultimately comforting. Usually served over rice with a crispy fried egg that ideally deserves co-star billing. We‘ll keep the jok runnyyy and the egg white crispyyy 🍳

Trash Skeleton (she/her) @trashskeletondumpsterdivers performs a “One and Done-r” all about a queer couple having horrible dates! One and Done-rs are a form of Participatory Theater that Trash Skeleton created where the scripts are handed out to the audience to perform for the first time in their life while she gives them the stage directions. It’s a way to make theater as horizontal and light hearted as possible !
