Songwriting under the spotlight!

Throughlines is an intimate event that invites three artists to each create a song based on a shared prompt, before they then perform it as part of a short set of original music.

Expect details on songwriting processes, back stories and works in progress as our artists share insight into what helps them write.

Throughlines #4! The 12th of February PAYF the Cardigan Arms lovely people lovely songs. This month we’ve got @katiespencermusic @lolaa.simms @thebandopheliah // This is a short clip of a song I’m writing called Second Serve, decided to write this whilst being stuck on the prompt song for Throughlines which I still haven’t finished ✨

Our songwriting night returns for its fourth iteration next month with yet another line-up of brilliant artists. We really are spoiling you.

Throughlines takes a look behind the curtain at the processes of some of our favourite songwriters and challenges them to write a song based on a shared prompt. What will next month’s prompt be? All will be revealed on the night…
