Since DJ Estrella and Modah started Soft Bites in 2023, they have been an influential part of the recent wave of tech, progressive house and trance in Copenhagen. Regularly hosting parties at Den Anden Side, Baggen, and Culture Box, as well as holding a residency at Radio Panini, they’ve established themselves as integrated name in the city’s contemporary club scene.

For their Miao Mix, they turned up the tempo, blending house, techno, and trance into a dynamic selection for your pleasure.

being a part of those "early days" in Valby was such an exciting time. it was before cph techno became world famous through the likes of schacke, mama snake, courtesy to name a few.

it was the place that finally consolidated the scene as we know it today. it was the first place with no cameras, safer space, queuing for hours (because the space was really that small lmao, maybe 60 m2).

a space that would gather the dancers scattered around kb18, kitchen afters etc, after dunkel closed its doors in 2012. we were close to culturally homeless when Et Andet Sted opened. for the first two months, we knew everyone who came. after that, the queue would tag along the adjacent buildings with so so many new faces who would later become close friends. when EAS closed, VSA opened.

the era that was about to begin was extraordinary and beautiful. now, many years later, many of us are still engaged. looking back, we're humbled by those times, with a smile on our faces thinking of those magical moments and friendships that gave us inspiration which to this day keep us going. to put it simply, it changed our lives forever.
