As an artist it’s easy to get lost in institutional processes, when instead you’d much rather lose yourself is the artistic process of realising your project. The submissions for the Amarte X MOMO Festival Open Call have been thoroughly read, and a first selection has been made! Part of the whole process - whether you make it to the last round or not - is to gather feedback and take all experience as a learning opportunity.

For instance, last week, applicants attended the ‘Unlocking Funding’ workshop by @soffmaria. Sofia shared industry insights, and provided personal feedback for the artists in their processes.

Wake up, babe… day three recap reel just dropped! We made it to the finish line! Closed out the Festival with one last round of critical reflections on AI narratives, got hands-on with the Carnival Queen demo, remixed better images of AI, knitted some algorithms, and had a final blast with cute Slow AI stick and poke tattoos. 🍭
