MNMT Live of today is presented by Wu Zhuoling @jolene_wu live artist based in Chengdu. A chameleonic pioneer at the forefront of China’s live electronic counterculture, Wu Zhuoling has built a reputation for deeply immersive performances and genre-defying sound. Performing exclusively with hardware, she creates live sets that guide audiences through a fluid sonic journey - from soothing ambient and experimental downtempo to soulful electronica, progressive IDM, and driving leftfield techno.
This live set brings together a selection of tracks from my 2024 album Reverie, along with several unreleased pieces – all songs are on the more up-tempo, dance-able range of my music. The overall mood leans toward a deep, psychedelic atmosphere, while remaining gentle and relaxed, perfect for listening to in natural outdoor settings.

Wu Zhuoling and Wang Wenwei will present an improvised live performance at wigwam. There will be no setlist, no rehearsal, and no one knows what will happen next — including themselves. Through electronic sounds, rhythmic fragments, and drifting atmospheres, the two artists will transform the space into a real-time, ever-evolving psychedelic soundscape.
In the intimate setting of wigwam, every interaction and transformation in the music unfolds right by your ears. An improvised performance can never be repeated. Come prepared, sharpen your ears, and arrive on time to share this one-of-a-kind moment with the artists.
