Hi. I’m Kait. Thanks for being here! A lot of you are new and I’m so glad you’re tagging along here on Instagram.

Some things about me:
• I film just about anything that has to do with horses. Big sucker for rough stock rodeo events and good old fashioned brandings.
• I have a bachelor’s degree in Spanish. Learned the language on my LDS mission in Argentina.
• Speaking of Argentina, I would love to go and film some cattle operations down there.
• This can be confusing after I just mentioned my mission, but I have a wife and she is the love of my life @jamieshae Wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else.
• I hate olives with a fiery passion.
• My friends will tell you I am terrible at texting. This is true.
• Big fan of teaching. Trial and error is a great teacher, but if I can help someone avoid it and skip to the answer, I will.
• Being a videographer in the western industry has brought me some of the most amazing relationships a gal could ask for and I am so SO GRATEFUL for that.

Let’s do this again shall we?

Calves were cared for, rocky mountain oysters were fried, kids played in the dirt, and there were more than a few wet saddle pads by the end of the day.

This was my third time hanging out with the Grant family for their spring branding and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Glad I had @charz1218 taking care of video so I could spend time getting pics of the day.

Desperate? Who, me? Nooooooo….

I just want to film a helicopter or a plane. That’s all.

There are other ways to do this. After effects would probably produce a better result, but I feel like this is a very straightforward way to remove an unwanted object (yes, it works on more than just stains).

The first time I ever needed to do something like this I remember thinking it was super complicated. It’s not, you just have to know how to do it. And now you know, too.

Really was hopeful that this was going to work 😂It is what it is. I did mess around with some angles at a branding, so hopefully I have some usable footage from that. We shall see.
