The Himalayas - Nepal - April 2026

Trekking from Lukla to Namche Bazar, to the Gokyo Lakes, Gokyo Ri (5362m altitude), the Ngozumpa glacier, the Cho La Pas (5420m altitude), the Khumbu glacier and Mount Everest Basecamp (5364m altitude).

Holy fuck that was crazy 😳

So immensely taken and touched by the amazing stories this crew presented tonight! Very personal, intimate and strong stories of identity, loss, pain, atonement, of finding back to the core of self without getting stuck in hatred or guilt. Thanks to the TRAST project, we have been able to engage in framing these stories, that will stay with us and be part of shared future for everyone involved. Thanks Anna @skanborg and Ida @eedajohannessenfor all your hard work and dedication in bringing this together! And to @karinamoeller7 for the sensitive empathetic facilitation of it all! 🙏🏼🤩

In TRAST - a Creative Europe funded project - we explore stories of insularity, and what it means to be a minority in a majority society.

We have just finished the 2nd Danish workshop, hosted by CKI and facilitated by Karina Moeller.
Here is a glimpse of our days together, accompanied by reflections from our facilitator Karina.

The participants have been working with storytelling tools, creating individual pieces that will be showcased at the public seminar at Union later today, 23rd of March, from 16:00-20:00.

På fredag og lørdag præsenterer vi en reading (work-in-progress) af The Lonely Soldier Monologues på @blaagaardteater

Virkelige historier fra kvinder som har været i krig. Det er en hård proces at sidde med i disss tider, men ikke desto mindre tror jeg på, at vi kan lære meget fra deres bekendelser, særligt set i lyset af en inspirerende kampdag i går!

Tak til dem som gør det muligt at dele disse fortællinger, og til hele dette seje hold bag!

On Friday and Saturday, we present a reading of The Lonely Soldier Monologues at Blaagaard teater.

Real stories from women who have been at war. It’s a difficult process to sit with in these times, but all the same, I believe we can learn a lot from their testimonies.

Det er en lydinstallation. En leg. En invitation til at udforske og bruge naturen.
Noget af værkets lyd er skabt af en række lokale deltagere, som tog med ud i Eventyrskoven i Esbjerg en aften i september 2025.

Oplev en reading af THE LONELY SOLDIERS MONOLOGUES, en dokumentarisk monologtekst, der tager os med ind i fem kvindelige soldaters virkelighed, mens de gjorde tjeneste i Irak og Afghanistan. Baseret på deres personlige fortællinger giver stykket stemme til historier, der sjældent bliver hørt – fortællinger om militærets strukturelle diskrimination, magtforhold og kønsforskelle.

Under readingen, møder publikum teksten i sin rå og nærværende form. Efterfølgende åbnes der for en samtale om forestillingens tematikker og om, hvordan teater kan skabe rum for refleksion og dialog. Stykket er skrevet af den amerikanske forfatter HELEN BENEDICT.

TRAST - CKI Workshop #1
Møn Dec. 4.-8. 2025.

What does it mean to be Inuit in Denmark today?
How do we fight ignorance, prejudice, violence and colonial structures, and create space for community, storytelling, understanding and creativity?

Through art?
We spent five days of exercises, games, singing, storytelling, conversations, vulnerable moments and shared reflections, in the first of two workshops before a public seminar i March 2026 in Copenhagen.
