‘all speak in love: Signature Workshop’ is a gathering opportunity led by sound artist Una Lee and generously hosted by @lawrence_street_workshops Belfast, exploring the practices of environmental listening, somatic awareness and mindfulness.
Please join us as we sit, breathe together, share a vessel of tea, and listen without judgement; to original soundscapes representing various types of environs, accompanied by contemplative text.
We will have the chance to observe fluctuations of our inner landscapes brought on by these external soundscapes, in order to possibly learn ways to exist in the maximal harmony with the world; by tuning ourselves to it - like musical instruments; so that we can resonate with it, rather than resist it.

February 2026 'In Lak'ech'
This week’s post in ‘all speak in love’ - the creative container offering mindfulness-infused sound and music works on Substack - releases the first sound piece produced as part of my residency in Ciudad de México.
Titled ‘In Lak’ech’ from In Lak’ech, Ala K’in: a phrase in Mayan that means ‘I am you, as you are me’, this piece (15’) is a soundscape of Interbeing, found in a bedroom of Mexico City.
Notes on the piece are available in the post. Come sit with me in a pocket of reality in this specific time and space, being ‘I’ in Mexico City. Come ready for a contemplative listening.

Basado en la práctica de la escucha ambiental, la consciencia somática y la atención plena.
En la primera parte, escucharemos (y compartiremos una taza de té), sin juzgar, de forma contemplativa, paisajes sonoros compuestos a propósito para representar diversos tipos de entornos, acompañados de texto hablado para sumergirnos en estados mentales específicos. Observaremos las fluctuaciones de nuestros paisajes interiores provocadas por estos paisajes sonoros externos. El objetivo final es maximizar la calidad de nuestra experiencia con los sonidos que nos rodean a diario aprendiendo a armonizar con el mundo, sintonizándonos con él, como instrumentos musicales, para que podamos resonar con él, en lugar de resistirnos.
En la segunda parte, nos levantaremos y nos lanzaremos a las calles para poner en práctica lo aprendido en la primera parte. También realizaremos caminatas contemplativas, combinadas con la escucha con los oídos prestados de nuestros antepasados y descendientes. Un paseo por el presente, donde el pasado y el futuro se encuentran, para que imaginemos un futuro que podamos llamar con orgullo un legado para las futuras generaciones.
Combinando las modalidades tradicionales de escucha profunda y compasiva con la práctica de grabación de campo, «todo habla con amor» busca acercar a las personas a la interconexión de todo. Reconocer la democracia de los sonidos ocultos en nuestra vida cotidiana nos animará a cultivar la capacidad de apreciar a todos los seres y a observar la alegría en todos los sonidos y escenarios, para que podamos mostrarnos a la vida con nuestra esencia más compasiva. Porque cuando escuchas todo en el mundo con el corazón, oirás cómo todo habla con amor.

Hello there. Sneaking in through your feed to share my little update - a launch, actually. of this new space ‘all speak in love’, housed in Substack. Some of you may know that I’ve run a series called the same name this past year with exclusive private subscribers. From this winter season, I am excited to expand it to meet more of you, to hold space for more people, yet without compromising the intimacy.
all speak in love is a creative container offering mindfulness-infused sound and music works, dedicated to bringing to foreground an unmediated experience of being in the listener. In whatever way you engage with it, you will encounter a string of love notes, voice episodes, guided walks, contemplative soundscapes and spoken songs, usually under a seasonal theme throughout the year.
