This work has been developed over several research residencies and workshops over the past few years and we are so excited to share the results with an audience next week.

✨DUALTIES✨
Vi er i fuld gang med prøverne på Dualities i @dansehallerne.
Forestillingen får premiere om to uger, og jeg glæder mig enormt meget til at dele den med et publikum.
Jeg har æren af at arbejde tæt sammen med den virkelig dygtige kunstner @carlemilcarlsen, hvilket er en kæmpe fornøjelse.
Hans visuelle 3D-univers har givet mig et helt nyt koreografisk udfoldelsesrum, og det er enormt spændende, inspirerende og udfordrende at arbejde på så teknologisk et plan.
Den smukke lydside til forestillingen er skabt af @mercy_cph, bestående af @timpanduro og Esben Valløe, og er udviklet i nært samarbejde med både koreografi og visuelle elementer, hvilket har været en meget inspirerende proces.
På scenen er de dygtige dansere @magali___camps og @roosatorma_ , i flotte kostumer af @marienoergaardnielsen
Scene- og produktionsdesign er lavet af det seje hold fra @vertigo.dk , og bag scenen har vi fået stærk assistance fra producenter @signesandvej, @normaas og @sigridaakvik1 fra @artandabout_agency, administrator @jonasschouhansen og ikke mindst gode @sebastian.nervil fra Dansehallerne.
Andre gode kræfter i projektet er assistent @sorenlindingurup, der har hjulpet til i det fysiske og koreografiske arbejde, og @astrid_hansen_holm, der kommer forbi prøverne her i opløbet til dramaturgisk sparring.
@timpanduro står for al videoproduktion på Dualities, og har lavet både trailer og behind-the-scenes-optagelser, som vi glæder os til at dele mere af.
Derudover skal lyde et stort tak til My Nilsson, der var med i vores allerførste tests på Aalborg Universitets 3D-lab @vizartsaau, hvilket var med til at tydeliggøre, hvilken vej forestillingen skulle tage.
Jeg glæder mig enormt meget til at dele dette værk med jer, og håber, at I vil slå vejen forbi Dansehallerne om et par uger, når Dualities får premiere ✨

Mother Soldier is a musical performance for three percussionists composed by the Danish composer Sandra Boss. The performance stems from both historical and personal experiences of becoming a mother in a world full of crisis. Through music, choreography and costume design, Mother Soldier leads the audience through a series of tableaus: we see and hear women marching, we see them in doubt, in grief and in care, and we follow them in battle for their children.
Mother Soldier’s musical expression draws on war’s own aesthetics by incorporating and reworking marching music, which historically is a musical style created to communicate orders and encourage battle. In Mother Soldier, the heavy march drum is exchanged with a light frame drum and the cymbal is replaced with a gong hanging around the performers’ neck.

Prøverne på Mother Soldier er startet i Skuespilhuset, hvor vi spiller om under tre uger.
Forestillingen har rejst fra et støvet militærtelt på Stevnsfortet, den Rå Hal på @godsbanen under @sporfestival, @sydhavnteater og KIN FESTIVAL og til blackboxen på @regionalarenaforsamtidsdans i Norge.
Nu skal vi spille på Det Kongelige Teater @kglteater, og jeg glæder mig meget til at dele denne perle af en forestilling i så prominente rammer.
