Only one week ago, on Saturday, May 9, on the stage of Theater Magdeburg, we had the privilege of enjoying the emotional and outstanding performance of Sasha Riva and Simone Repele, special guests of ‘Move&Dance #2 Internationale Ballettgala’, directed by Jörg Mannes, closing the first edition of Tanz im Mai.
As we still carry deep inside our hearts the emotions these two extraordinary artists gave us, we are happy to share with all of you some excerpts from the general rehearsal that we had the chance to film. ✨

For Sasha Riva and Simone Repele, working together is “like living together. You know each other inside out, and you have to learn to love each other’s flaws too.” This doesn’t mean there’s no conflict. If anything, it means that conflict – miraculously – has become productive. This is also why they refuse to choose between roles.
