⚡️ ROCK MY WEDDING TOP 50 UK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS 2024 - 2025 ⚡️

I’m busy packing for a proper exciting little road trip to the USA (more on that soon) next week but just got the news I’m on the @rockmywedding list of top 50 best wedding photographers for the second year running. Legit honoured to be up there and continuing year on year to absolutely adore what I do. In fact ya know what. I don’t often blow my own trumpet but this year I’m making the best damn photographs and films I’ve ever made so there.

There isn’t a year that goes by where I don’t strive to get better, more weird & more frickin wonderful. I will never pay for awards but to be named out of the blue on lists amidst other awesome photographers hits me right in the feels. Especially when I’m working none stop in whatever fraction of time I have without my two kids.

Casey starts school in September & for the first time in errrrm ever me & Paige get five, YES FIVE whole work days to do stuff! Holy shit you have no idea how game changing that’s gonna be on our lives. More art from love than your burning loins can take.

Anyway thank you again as always. The couples who book me continue to be the best, most passionate love fuelled, creative photography loving badasses in the stratosphere. My love for you all to give me real life money to continue in this bloody lovely life knows no bounds.

⚡️ MAJESTIC OPENINGS & CAFFEINE SHAKES ⚡️

Forgive me if my caption is shorter than usual. The sprogs have once again infected me with their lurgy. I used to live in York & remember walking along York walls & coming across a majestic opening (Yes I used the words majestic opening) in the tree line that revealed the oh so spesh Grays Court York. I looked upon said beautiful garden filled with tranquility thinking in my noggin “ooh I wonder if I’ll ever do a wedding there?” Fast forward & here I am with my cameras in hand & love in my trousers to photograph the spectacular Hannah & Mike.

The day began with a first look filled with all the frickin heart followed by a few portraits inside this epic building. Then it was outside in the beautiful gardens at Grays Court for a Wisteria framed ceremony. The sun was shining, the flowers were blooming & holy moly were the tourists touristing. The amount of onlookers from York walls made it even more spesh as these two said their I do’s.

Making portraits with these babs & their family & friends was just awesome, especially around the eclectic grounds. You can be damn sure if I find a watering can kicking about I’m gonna use it as a prop & holy moly did Hannah & Mikes pals absolute smash their group photos. Speeches & beaut food paved the way to a little walk on York walls before we went back inside for an unreal pub quiz which involved a whole lot of quirky crafts.

Huge love to Mike & Hannah on their most epic of days. Also massive thank you to the staff at Grays Court. Literally these guys couldn’t do enough for me. Even plying me with two back to back double espressos before I headed home with the caffeine shakes. Legends.

Holy moly I’ve had a beaut couple of months off but my 2026 wedding season has finally began with the incredible forms of Maya & Sam over at the Faversham in Leeds. These two incredible humans (Soon to be three) are so damn special. Honestly hearing their story of how they met was straight out of a frickin Romcom & when these absolute babs said their I do’s I could have filled several buckets with their salty tears.

I absolute adore when a a couple gets their close friend to do their ceremony, it just fills my heart with frickin joy. Even more so when struggling with getting the ceremony lines right, these guys made a pact to all touch Maya’s baby belly 🥲 Sheesh even I was welling up inside my viewfinder. What a bunch of legends.

People travelled from all over the planet to see these beauties tie the knot & boy oh frickin boy where they all up for a badass photo. Excuse my massive head but I reckon the down time did me good as I was proper on form this day. Exploring the Roger Stevens building as always was a frickin joy. This is legit one of my all time favourite structures on the planet. So much so I even have a little concrete model of it on my desk. Brutalist for the win! Those pockets of light, that geometry, Hell there was even a Heron nesting on the pond which I couldn’t resist double exposing inside these beauties.

I absolute adore when a a couple gets their close friend to do their ceremony, it just fills my heart with frickin joy. Even more so when struggling with getting the ceremony lines right, these guys made a pact to all touch Maya’s baby belly 🥲 Sheesh even I was welling up inside my viewfinder. What a bunch of legends.

People travelled from all over the planet to see these beauties tie the knot & boy oh frickin boy where they all up for a badass photo. These two incredible humans (Soon to be three) are so damn special. Honestly hearing their story of how they met was straight out of a frickin Romcom & when these absolute babs said their I do’s I could have filled several buckets with their salty tears.

I absolute adore when a a couple gets their close friend to do their ceremony, it just fills my heart with frickin joy. Even more so when struggling with getting the ceremony lines right, these guys made a pact to all touch Maya’s baby belly 🥲 Sheesh even I was welling up inside my viewfinder. What a bunch of legends.

People travelled from all over the planet to see these beauties tie the knot & boy oh frickin boy where they all up for a badass photo. Excuse my massive head but I reckon the down time did me good as I was proper on form this day. Exploring the Roger Stevens building as always was a frickin joy. Anyway, isn’t reuniting with past couples just the frickin best. I got to spend an hour with the heavenly forms of Josh, Emily & their brand new tiny human over at Lincoln Arboretum for some badass family shenanigans. We ogled at fluffy ducklings, Stared at a lions nether regions, got lost in a maze, chased pigeons & created some spring time magic with all the frickin colour. The last time I saw these babs I was hopping in an aeroplane to photograph these guys in the clouds so it seemed quite fitting that the red arrows were flying overhead when I arrived at this corner of Lincoln. Of course as soon as these three turned up the red arrows decided to bugger off crushing my dreams of capturing more plane based badassery.

What an hour spent in the height of spring with three beautiful humans & their ever growing family. As always it’s such a frickin privilege to continue to create for such incredible humans again & again. Just a slice of life in the cake of greatness.
