TSL Preliminary entry 🔥💥

This year I came in with a fire in my soul and couldn’t be happier with all I was able to display in my round 🙏🏼

Entering uncomfortable situations like this can be scary but also extremely empowering 👊🏼

My goal was to demonstrate my technique, power and range of styles to set myself apart ✨

I hope I can inspire anyone to step outside their comfort zone and have courage to be authentic and true to who they are 💗

I’m happy I was able to represent Canada and make my local community proud 🫶🏼

Thank you to all those supporting me from near and far, I appreciate you and see you 🥺💗

I will always continue to share my light through my dance 🙏🏼

Slowing down to speed up 🙏🏼✨

I’m staying committed to this series and by doing that sharing more of what matters to me with all of you 🫶🏼

Today I felt the need to move slowly and honouring my body has been really important to me lately 🙏🏼

Whether it’s journalling, meditating, reading or just disconnecting from my phone I listen to my needs ✨

And sharing more of my knowledge through virtual classes has been integral as I wish to pass on everything I can to my community 💗

Educating will always bring me joy and I hope to continue to serve as much as I can from a place of love 🙌🏼

Expression is healing for the soul ✨

And moving my body on the dance floor has always been so therapeutic for me 🫶🏼

We can tap into a flow state through dance that feels like pure magic ✨

And everyone gets to experience this.. you don’t have to be “skilled” to reach this state 💗

You just have to allow yourself to let go, move freely, play, explore and do what feels good ⚡️

So next time you need to become present with your body, just put on your favourite music and try it out for yourself 🙌🏼
