Slowcore, shoegaze, post-rock, ambient … all of these descriptors can be applied to the hazy songcraft of @shell____company, and while it’s true that the UK trio has a certain level of grey-skied gloom in its DNA, the band also has a knack for combining lo-fi sonics with lo-lit atmospheres, along with a seductive tendency to embrace the gloriously slow burn.
