A season comes to an end. Over the past year, shared frequencies has grown from a monthly radio show into something more. From hours on air to our first listening session, and first steps into the club setting.

On June 20th, we will bring it all together at Flucc Deck, where it‘s all about the dancefloor. We focus on club sounds that make us and our friends move endlessly through the night. Sounds that carry lots of emotions, collective memories and vibrations. We are very happy to announce that we invited some of our dearest to join us along the way.

Thanks a million to everyone who has been tuning in, showing up and supporting us over the past year. It really means a lot. Before taking a break over summer, we would love to come together once more, share the moment and dance with you.

@sharedfrequencies_ is a project by ooku. and dr. schick, built on years of listening to music and sharing new sounds together. They play everything from soulful, analog sounds like jazz, hip hop and reggae to electronic styles like UK garage, house and drum and bass, and plenty more in between. No rules, just music that moves them. With their radio shows and live sessions they want to bring this connection on air and into shared spaces, inviting others to listen, feel and be part of it.

We want to share a project we have been working on, something that grew naturally over the years through our friendship, which has always been about showing each other music and discovering new sounds together. That exchange has shaped us from the beginning, and it still keeps us curious today.

“shared frequencies” is our way of bringing this ongoing conversation on air. We revisit the sounds that shaped our early connection and stay eager to discover new artists and songs that carry that feeling into the present. You can expect soulful, analog music like funk, jazz, hip hop and reggae as well as electronic styles such as UK garage, house and jungle. No strict rules, just music that means something to us and hopefully to you as well.

Tune in every second Tuesday of the month from 20:00 to 22:00 on RES Radio.
And in case you miss it, all episodes are available on SoundCloud and in the RES archive on their website.

PS: Make sure to keep your eyes peeled in June, as we might take shared frequencies outside of the studio and onto a dancefloor near you!
