ENEMY sera à La Petite Halle ce 30 avril, et toi ?

Salués par la presse internationale comme « d'une intensité féroce et d'une belle complexité » (The Guardian), ces trois esprits musicaux hors norme repoussent les frontières du piano trio avec une précision et une liberté rares. Late Bush, presents ‘Hoarses’, available from 24 April on the VLEK label. @late_bush

With this album, Late Bush offers an original repertoire, blending electronic music (power ambient, IDM, avant-pop) and early music.

At the heart of this material, AI-cloned voices, both human and spectral, extend the idea that all baroque interpretation is a reconstruction of the unknown. They contrast with organic strings recorded in the studio with Echo Collective, in a radical temporal hybridisation, creating a fluid and unstable material, between memory and simulation.

For Late Bush, the connections between early music and AI, and between acoustic and electronic, are based neither on nostalgia nor on the effect of contrast. This is not a confrontation between human and machine or between past and future, but rather a form of poetic continuity. The strings, carried by Echo Collective’s sensitive and expressive interpretation, breathe vibrant authenticity into the project. Alongside the connection to early music, the project also dialogues with contemporary aesthetics such as power ambient, IDM, and hyperpop, which share the same affective intensity, a taste for ornamentation, and a form of sonic excess. The AI voices, also drawing from R&B or pop, extend this tension.

@late_bush presents Hoarses, a singular hybrid project where electronic and early music converge. Power ambient, IDM and hyperpop intertwine with organic strings and AI-cloned voices, both human and spectral, opening a space between memory, simulation and sonic excess.

Hoarses is the debut album by Late Bush and will be released in April on @vlek__.

For the album release show, Late Bush presents Hoarses live at @botanique_bxl on 3 April, starting at 19:30, accompanied by the strings of @echocollectivemusic, who also feature on the record.

In support of the release, @_ssaliva, audiovisual artist and collaborator of Late Bush, will present an electronic live set.

Playing live is what I love most ❤️‍🔥 being on that stage at @abconcerts for that late night at braindance_ was insane, thank you for that 🫰
