A one hour wheel throwing class turned into a passionate 5 years building a brand. I got lucky. So, so lucky. To have met Min, my instructor at the time who worked at Clayspace where I met the wonderful Janine who took me in and saw the potential and drive I had towards this medium. @clayspace_bk has been my only home for all these years and dammit, it’s a good one.

I was never one to keep at a job for so long, let alone a hobby. Starting ceramics literally changed my life. It’s made me lifelong friends and given me incredible opportunities. What a dream it was (and still is) to come in and just be able to make whatever it is I wanted to make. I went through 6+ jobs during my time here and that doesn’t include going full time at ceramics in 2022 hahah.

Got to go visit my friends @drmtlgy yesterday to celebrate their launch with @ultabeauty @bedfordstudiosnyc ✨ DRMTLGY and I worked together to bring a ceramic Ulta bag to life along with minis of their products so it was quite a treat when I got to meet the team just a train ride away. I feel so grateful to live in the city where everything happens and to be part of different communities. Everything I do is somehow always connected to coffee so I was thrilled to finally try @bedfordstudionyc coffee and boooy was it delicious!

Anyways, go visit an Ulta near you for some @drmtlgy and pick up some delicious coffee @bedfordstudionyc ☕️
