💌 You’re invited to a FREE Community Crafternoon!

Join us for a cozy afternoon of crafting, conversation, and community as we gather for a Community Crafternoon with Practical Magic Retreat.

Whether you’ve already registered for the retreat or you’re simply curious and wanting to learn more, this gathering is a beautiful opportunity to meet your hosts, connect with other women in the community, and get a feel for the spirit of the retreat in a relaxed, low-pressure setting.

We’ll have an easy craft setup, space to mingle, and plenty of time to simply slow down and be together.

Our gathering also falls on Lughnasadh (August 1), the ancient first harvest festival and cross-quarter day on the Wheel of the Year — a seasonal moment traditionally associated with gratitude, abundance, creativity, and gathering in community. While no prior knowledge of pagan traditions is needed, we love the symbolism of coming together during this time of harvest and connection.

There is a difference between reaching and allowing yourself to receive.

For a long time, I believed everything had to be earned through striving, proving, pushing, or performing. But nature teaches something different…
The waterfall does not force its flow, and the earth does not resist what moves through it.

To open is an act of trust. When we allow life to meet us where we truly are, we create space to receive the love, support, intimacy, inspiration, and abundance we deeply desire.

Maybe vulnerability is not weakness at all, but the moment we stop gripping so tightly to survival that we finally allow ourselves to receive what has been flowing toward us all along

The 3 of swords is often seen as grief, betrayal, and loss, but fire changes that meaning…

The fire becomes a forge of truth,
and the swords become tools of transformation.
They cut through illusion, attachments, and patterns that keep us from becoming the fierce, embodied warrior within.

Severance instead of suffering.
Clarity instead of chaos.
Protection instead of punishment.

a solid foundation I could feel comfortably safe in.
But when I looked over what I thought was my bedrock,
I realized i was just the edge of truth…
